At Shoreline Volleyball, we believe that great coaching makes a lasting impact—on the court and in life. Our experienced staff is committed to developing confident, skilled, and resilient athletes across all age levels.
Karl Katzenberger - Club Director
Head Coach – Shoreline 13's and 14's Age Groups
- 25 years coaching high school, USJO Open & Club, and community-based programs
- 16th season as Varsity Head Coach at Minnetonka High School
- Former Head Coach at Armstrong HS (6 years) and The Blake School (2 years)
- 430 career high school varsity wins
- 17 years coaching club 14's age group
- Specializes in developing 6th–8th grade athletes

Bailey Zimprich
Head Coach – Shoreline 12's
Varsity Assistant Coach – Minnetonka High School
- Collegiate player at UW River Falls
- B.S. in Business Administration
- 10+ years coaching high school and club volleyball in Minnesota

Sophia Lyons
Coach – Shoreline 12's
Varsity Volleyball – Minnetonka High School
- Class of 2026 at MHS
- Former Shoreline player
- 2nd season coaching at Shoreline
- Has been on a team at every level of the MHS VB program

Rachel Dill
Coach – Shoreline 13's and 14's
- Minnetonka High School alum & former varsity captain
- B.S. from the University of Minnesota Duluth
- Has coached athletes in every age group at Shoreline from 12-15's

John Pierce
Head Coach – Shoreline 14-Navy
Coach – Minnetonka 9A Team (13 seasons)
- 30+ years coaching high school and club volleyball
- 20+ years coaching within Shoreline’s program
- Mentored over 100 varsity letter winners at Minnetonka

Chad Becker
Head Coach – Shoreline 15's age group
Welcome Chad in his first year in our club!
- 25+ years coaching high school Varsity VB at Eden Prairie HS
- 25+ years coaching Club and USJO Open level VB at area clubs
- Coached EP to 2011 MSHSL State Championship
Chad has worked with dozens of NCAA D1, D2, D3, professional and Olympic VB Players
Anna Lockhart
Coach – Shoreline 15's
Welcome Anna in her first year in our club!
- Minnetonka HS Grad - one of two 5 year letter winners in school history
- Experienced mentoring and coaching youth VB at MHS
- Played USJO Open and Club volleyball over a 7 year playing career
Anna is excited to help prepare the next generation of volleyball players
Rorey Schoen
Coach – Shoreline 14-Navy
Welcome Rorey in her first year coaching in our club!
- Minnetonka Class of 2026 - 3 time varsity letter winner
- Experienced mentoring and coaching youth VB at MHS
- Former Shoreline player and Lake Conference award winner
Rorey is looking forward to working with the players in our club!
